Description: Originally named Boulder Dam, it was renamed Hoover Dam in 1946. Seen here are a long road and a sign which was posted by the Boulder Grand Canyon Navigation Co. about 5 miles from the Colorado River. There will be a city and a hotel here in the future to house people for the Boulder Dam project.
