Description
Looking south from north of Banana (Hillcrest) Ave. Primrose Ave at left. Magnolia at right. F. M Monroe house at right (two- story white house). Single story white house to its right is the G.W. Sevier house. The grown house in front of it is the G.W. Dumbell house now at 240 W Hillcrest (moved from this location). Near the left edge of the picture in the dfistance is the Granite Bank building at the sw corner of Myrtle & Palm. Just west of it on Palm is the J.B Nichols building (two stories with center supla) built in 1888. In the distance is the First Methodist Church at Primrose and Olive. the two story white house in the center foreground is unidentified.
