Views of Mac's Auto Tours customers and coaches in Long Beach; views of models at the beach, with cabanas, and at a municipal golf course in San Clemente; views of the San Clemente Casino and San Clemente movie theater; and views of houses (presumably in San Clemente). Negatives previously rehoused. Envelopes labeled "#2 Roche San Clem." Possibly publicity photographs for San Clemente. The "#2" could refer to this being envelope #2 of 2 envelopes depicting San Clemente, as many of the same subjects appear in both projects. See also project 4014. Accompanied by invoice for prints of theater (housed in box 202 folder 12). According to invoices (Box 214, folder 13), photographs were taken for "John D. Roche Inc., Advertisers Production Agency" of 739 S. Hope St. in Los Angeles. Parker's original envelopes were dated March 1939, but invoices show photos were taken in 1938.
