Description
Photograph caption dated February 21, 1958 reads, "Thousands of spectators jammed the streets of New Chinatown last night and watched a colorful parade celebrating the Chinese New Year, which is the 'Year of the Dog.' The pageant was highlighted by the traditional lion dance. The parade will be repeated tonight." Willie Soohoo led the procession.
