Divided back. Postmarked September 1909, San Jose, to Miss Dagmar Smith, Watsonville. "Dear Doe. [Doc?] Why don't you write? Are you very very busy and did you have any "Warm Weather" up there this week? Kid I pretty near thought I was down South again. [Illeg.] and cool today thank the Lord and everything fine and dandy here. Will write you Sunday. J.B.J."
