Description
Postmarked from Hollister, illegible date, to Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Barker, 238 East San Carlos, San Jose. "Dear Mamma B., Papa B. and the Little Busy Bee -- I heard from Ruth and again from Mrs. Butts you people are coming down Thanksgiving day but surely for longer than that. Expect to see you then. We are going out for that day and no doubt you would be too utterly utter after storing away so many good things You could not think of going away that day but we expect to see your smiling countenances during your sojourn here. And you can visit my school after all. My third graders are making autumn leaves now to decorate my room with. They will look very pretty I think. I saw Ruth not long ago. Kit was home last Saturday coming home thanksgiving too. Then her school ony keeps twelve [illeg.] days longer. Mine may run two weeks longer if my other trustee agrees and I [illeg.] he will if it doesn't rain. I like my work just fine. I think they like me so far. Yours A. G."
