Sheneska Jackson discusses her novel, “Caught Up In the Rapture.” The novel is about 2 young women who live in a bad part of South Central Los Angeles and follow their dreams of being in the music business. She talks about how the record company in the book gives back to the community and helps get kids off the streets. Jackson talks about her success story of getting out of the ghetto and going to college for journalism. She describes her writing methods and how she finished the book in 6 weeks. She advises that writers go back over their work and rewrite it before they hand it in. She ends the interview by talking about teen pregnancy and kids dropping out of school.
