Alice Pullen's home in Auburn, CA. Donor/Source: Stephanie, Souza. Alice Pullen home in Auburn, CA. The Pullen home at 729 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA. A deed fround in 1974 showed that my grandfather (Sammuel Jessee Pullen, b. 12/1/1839) and my grandmother (Alice Cross b. 9 /4/1858) bought this home in 1886. They were married in Roseville where my Mother, Sarah, Uncle Frank and Aunt Amy were all born. They moved to Auburn in possibly 1884. The surviving child Amy Pullen Laing died 10/1/1973 and left the home to her five nieces. There are four bedrooms down stairs, 3 baths, parlor, dining, kitchen and pantry, Basement downstairs and an attic upstairs with a bedroom at the back.
