Description
"Sassy Jane" billboard sits atop the Garrick Theatre on Broadway in downtown Los Angeles as pedestrians pass the marquee. The Garrick, originally called the Hyman Theatre, was built by Los Angeles theatrical promoter Arthr S. Hyman, sometime after 1910. Later, in 1921, it was remodeled to a design by architect George Edwin Bergstrom. The building was replaced by the Tower Theater in 1927.
