Westlake Park, later renamed in honor of General Douglas MacArthur. This photograph shows a couple canoeing on the lake. The woman is holding a parasol as the man holds the oars. Behind them, other canoes and boats are visible, filled with people. A cluster of homes is visible on the right side of the photograph, but the surrounding area looks quite sparse and uninhabited. This is a view facing southeast. Photograph taken in 1890.
