“Ken.” Studio portrait of Kenneth David Irvine who was born at the Chogoria mission in June 1925, the son of Archibald Clive Irvine and Margaret Joyce Irvine (nee Carr). ❧ Kenneth was sent to Pembroke House, a prep-school at Gilgil, South of Nakuru in Kenya. ❧ This image is from an album chronicling the time that Dr Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974) spent at Tumutumu (1919-1921) and some of the early years at Chogoria.
