Description
Street view of the home that originally belonged to Hiram Higgins. It was designed by architect John Austin and built in 1902. It originally was located on the northeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Rampart Street. In 1924, the Verbeck family moved the residence to its present site of 637 S. Lucerne Blvd. with a memorable moving party.
