Photograph caption dated August 11, 1961 reads "Ground-breaking for a new 32-lane bowling center took place this week at Glenoaks and Hubbard street in San Fernando which is scheduled to be ready about April 1, 1962. the new center will be called Belair Lanes. Helping in the ground-breaking this week are, left, Mayor of San Fernando, David Calderon, and owner Phillip Novak. Pretty girl to the right is Babs Cooper, Miss San Fernando. Serving as 'pin boys' are left, AMF champ Andy Mazerich, Roy Richardson, president of San Fernando Chamber of Commerce, and AMF champ Loy Countryman."
