Photograph of an exterior view of an adobe on Ninth Street near Santa Fe Avenue, Los Angeles, ca.1915. The back of a long house made of bricks is shown, its roof shingles coming loose. A fan-like construction stands in the small garden beyond the house's patio, possibly a support for growing vines. A tree stands to the left, behind which a telephone pole is visible. The adobe was built by Frenchman Luis Martinez in 1859.
