Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Sinai Temple was the first conservative congregation in Southern California, established in 1906. For nearly 20 years, the temple was located at 12th and Valencia Streets. A second facility, located at New Hampshire and 4th streets was opened in 1925. That synagogue served the community until 1960, at which time it relocated to this temple, designed by Sidney Eisenshtat.
