Photograph of an aerial view of downtown Los Angeles, looking north from Eleventh Street, [s.d.]. City hall is visible in the distance at center and can be identified by its large rectangular towers. Many other fairly tall buildings are crowded onto small city blocks at center. Most are rectangular in shape. In the distance at right, three massive cylindrical tanks can be seen. Wide streets divide the buildings, and several automobiles can be seen throughout the area.
