Pictured is the entrance to the William S. Hart Park, located at 24151 N. San Fernando Rd., in Newhall; a horse and unidentified man stand at the forefront. The park, comprised of 220 acres of property formerly known as Hart Ranch, was dedicated at weekend ceremonies which were attended by various civic leaders on the weekend of September 22nd. Photograph dated November 26, 1958.
