Photograph of nurses demonstrating a procedure at the Los Angeles General Hospital nursing school, ca.1925. Two dozen student nurses all wearing aprons and wide headbands (the school uniform at the time) can be seen standing at attention at left and right behind desks. Four other nurses and a lady wearing a knee-length dress can be seen surrounding a table at center. Three bowls can be seen on top of the table. A table with a large pad of paper on it can be seen in the foreground. Stairs can be seen on the other side of the windows at right. The Los Angeles County General Hospital nursing school is now (as of 2012) the LA County College of Nursing and Allied Health.
