Photograph of the construction of a railroad crossing, ca.1930. Railroad tracks run from the foreground at right to the background at left and intersect a dirt road at center. The road, which is lined by tall wooden utility poles, meanders into the distance at center. In the foregroud, workers can be seen putting large wooden beams between the rails. Surveyors are visible at left and right. Tall trees can be seen in the background at center, while railroad ties sit on a large pile of dirt in the foreground.
