Photograph of the 49'ers procession at the Fiesta de Los Angeles on North Main Street, 1875. This is south from the Temple Block in front of the U.S. Hotel. Also visible are the La Franco Building and the El Dorado Store on top of which is a figure of a horse. The street is crowded with horse-drawn vehicles, onlookers, and the parade itself. Legible signs include: "El Dorado Store", "A. Col".... Mexican Americans
