Description
The twenty-one stained glass windows on the balcony and lower floor of the literature room (north transept) were presented by Mrs. Denison in 1939. Each bears the design of the mark of an early printer. This window has the name "Germain Hardowyn Paris" in the lower left corner, with an illegible date. Germain Hardouin and his relative Egidius Hardouin were printers of beautiful devotional volumes in Paris around 1513.
