Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
View of the original Juni´pero Serra statue outside of the beaux-arts style Ventura Courthouse. Photo dated: April 15, 1969.; The statue shown here was created by John Palo-Kangas. Over the years it decayed to the point beyond repair, so a bronze replica designed by Wilbur Rubottom replaced this statue in 1989.; The courthouse, designed in 1912 by Albert C. Martin, later became Ventura City Hall.
