Photograph caption dated July 26, 1958 partially reads, "Canoga Park 20-30ians aren't getting ready for a wedding with old treadle sewing machine and new television set--but they are collecting items for benefit auction, scheduled 1 to 8 p.m., Aug. 16 at 6578 Winnetka Ave., Canoga Park. Stock piling goods for event are, from left, Bill Miklos, Neil Pefley and Bob Copeland. Proceeds will be used to purchase therapy equipment for handicapped children."
