Description
Large, two story stucco residence in San Jose on a large lot, unknown address. Spanish-style architecture with terraces on either sides of the house, and a balcony overlooking the front yard. Driveway on the left with car parked at back. French doors opening onto the balcony, underneath arch. House appears to have a partial or full basement. Fireplace in center of roof. Single door entrance on left side of the house. The house was designed by Bernard Maybeck for Dr. Howard B. Gates.
