Photograph caption dated June 7, 1963 reads, "Admiring trophy won by Brian Conroy, Van Nuys High School student, right, are Tim Wilkes, North Hollywood, second place winner, left, and Richard Rotblatt, third place, also of North Hollywood. The trio were three top winners in Valley house plans drawing contest." The annual drawing contest was sponsored by the San Fernando Valley Building Contractors Association and the Chandler Lumber Co., of Van Nuys.
