Description
"Baracke von Christoph u. Unmack (Niesky) mit Ziegelunterbau in Rutenganyo." ("Shack of Christoph and Unmack (Niesky) with brick base frame in Rutenganio."). Two-storied building with canopy made from plant fiber. People sitting under the canopy and on the staircase. A European man and a European woman on the platform on top of the stairs in front of the entrance to the upper floor.
Cf. photo no. 7706, box no. Nyassa 2. -- Parts of the photo have been mended with black-and-white paint. -- The town Niesky in Saxony, Germany, was founded by the Moravian Church in 1742.
