Description
"Safeway's newest Sacramento Area store will open at 9 AM Wednesday at 3845 Marysville Boulevard in Del Paso Heights. Containing 17,787 square feet of floor area, the building is of tilt up concrete construction and features exposed aggregate on its front panels. It contains a self service meat department, large freezer, produce, frozen food and dairy products cases, a bakery section, automatic doors, a cashier's booth and six split type checkstands. Harold Charamuga, former manager of Safeway's store at Arden Way and Watt Avenue, will manage the new outlet. The building was designed by architect Tod Hart of Sacramento, and erected by the Craft Construction Comapny of Stockton ..."
