Description
Postcard shows a photo of a memorial for William Kent, a prominant Mill Valley resident in during the 1910s and 1920s who served three times as a US congressperson. He also donated the land for Muir Woods in 1908, first purchasing the land in order to save the redwoods from developement. After his death in 1929, a memorial was placed alongside these redwoods.
