Photograph of three Havasupai Indians, Waluthama, his father and daughter, in front of their "Hawa" or dwelling, ca.1899. The elderly father half reclines on the ground holding a crooked stick in his right hand. Waluthama, sits with his knees up, legs spread, with his back to a wooden post of the ramada. The young daughter stands near the open rough wood door with her hands clasped behind her back.
