Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on November 5, 1972 states: "The Mt. Lassen areas is waiting for the winter snow to come and cover the slopes with a deep mantle of white. It should not be too long in arriving. The National Park is worth a visit now in its fall color with clear-road driving conditions. This view of one of the peaks was taken above Lake Helen, a beauty spot of the area."
