Photograph caption dated July 18, 1956 reads "Pretty actress Piper Laurie of North Hollywood will give a hand to the Exchange Club Diabetic Foundation for Juveniles when the annual charity baseball game features the Hollywood Stars and Portland Beavers Friday night at Gilmore Field. Here she's about to meet a baseball headon (sic), with a bat. Proceeds will go to send under-privileged children to summer camp in Sequoia National Park."
