Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on September 6, 1977 states: "Along with the state's drought draining Folsom Lake, it dried up the Labor Day crowd at what usually is a jammed beach at Granite Bay. The couple above drove the mile from the parking lot, near the sign below (SBPM 6472), to the water's edge. They had no problem finding a place to stretch out for a few rays."
