Description: View of Dr. Walter R. Bell, a Reno dentist swinging into the saddle after receiving the mail pouch from attorney Bruce Thompson. The rider is on his way west. The change point was the first out of Houton Well, 40 miles east of Carson City. Part of the centennial of the Pony Express in 1960.
