Photograph article dated May 20, 1965 partially reads, "A Van Nuys couple, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stooks, were named Monday as the Foster Parents of the Year by the Children's Bureau of Los Angeles. The Stooks, of 15354 Stagg St., have cared for 22 children since they became foster parents in 1957. They have two of their own."
