It was constructed in 1929 and is an Art Deco building. Windows are grouped in vertical strips, divided by piers and pilasters. Directly across from Barker Bros. is the Insurance Exchange Building, another Art Deco building. Barker Bros. is Long Beach Historic Landmark no. 16.52.450.
