Description
Mrs. Frank M. Herkelrath, wife of Pilgrim Place administrator, standing left, and "Captain" Dr. W. C. Hilmer, retired Methodist college professor, conducting a tour of the 28-acre Pilgrim Place grounds in Claremont on "The Mayflower," towed by a jeep, on November 5, 1954. The tour leaders are wearing authentic garb as part of the Pilgrim Festival.
