Title supplied by cataloger. The structures at 232 and 232 1/2 Grand Avenue were built in 1894 by Bernard Sens, a German immigrant who worked as a tailor on Broadway. Once the Bunker Hill Relocation Project was completed in 1968, both buildings were demolished. Looking northwest towards the multi-unit property at 232 1/2 Grand Avenue on Bunker Hill. On the far left is a glimpse of the residence at 232 Grand Avenue, which is serving as the office of the Bunker Hill Relocation Project of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). In the background are the DWP Headquarters, left, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
