Description
Original photograph has several stains.
Photograph caption dated September 29, 1950 reads "'Art for the ages.'" Peter Zeola, an immigrant from Italy, learned the marble trade at an early age. He migrated to the United States in 1920 and worked on Los Angeles City schools, the Roosevelt Hotel and at churches and other buildings throughout the city. He lives at 452 W. 80th Street.; See images #00136713 through #00136714 for all photos in this series.
