Photograph caption dated November 18, 1959 reads, "Adventurous Endurance Voyagers -- Andrew Triche, left, displays Stars and Bars along with his partner Bob Cummings Jr., as their ship the Magnolia II makes brief stop in Los Angeles Harbor. They are attempting the longest voyage ever made by an outboard cruiser in the 22-foot craft; from Vicksburg, Miss., to Juneau, Alaska. Upon completion the trip will have encompassed some 13,000 miles of open ocean."
