Images were chosen from family albums and include daily life, social organizations, work, personal and holiday celebrations, and migration and immigration activities. Description
Bungalow home of Mary (Hale) Smith in Watts, located at 10333 Hickory Street. It has a driveway on the right leading to a garage and wire mesh fencing. The house cost $1,350 and was bought with $100 down. It was financed by the Farmers and Merchants Bank and the monthly payments were $15 at the time this photo was taken in 1936.
