Shown is a 1912 pamphlet for the White Hospital, located at Twenty-Ninth and J streets. Opened in 1910 by Dr. John L. White and closed in 1924, the facility contained five four-bed wars, two four-bed wards, and 30 private rooms. It also offered a nurse education program, training 20-some at a time.
