Photograph article dated July 2, 1965 partially reads, "The world's most attractive pilots - 160 strong - today anxiously awaited the starter's flag in the 19th annual Powder Puff Derby. Known internationally as the All-Woman transcontinental Air Race, the derby begins at 8 a.m. tomorrow from El Cajon's Gillespie Field in San Diego County."
