The 7th annual North Hollywood Pioneer Picnic was held on November 8, 1953 at the City Recreation Hall at Chandler and Tujunga Avenues, now the North Hollywood Park.
Photograph caption dated November 9, 1953 reads, "Visit was paid those attending seventh annual picnic for pioneers by Lt. Governor Harold Powers, left, and Bill Marsh, right, assemblyman from 42nd District. Fred Weddington, pioneer, stands next to March. Other old-timer is Phil Kenny."
