Description
Article on page 123, "Skirting the Pacific Slope," documents the trip of J. H. Clement and family of Kamloops, B.C., who motored down the entire length of the Pacific Coast to the Mexican border line and return. "On July 22d we left by the Coast Route for Los Angeles, passing through the famous Santa Clara Valley, over well nigh perfect roads, thousands of acres of apricots on either side. Went into and about the Leland Stanford University, the great home of learning, amid splendid surroundings."
