Description
Photograph shows a driveway lined with trees and plants leading to a house. Two pillars stand at the opening to the driveway and read, from left to right, "H. Ray Fry. Casa Bella."
H. Ray Fry was an attorney in San Jose who was also active in the San Jose Chapter of the Freemasons. A biographical sketch provides the following information: "Residence, 52 South Whitney Street; office, Wilcox Block, San Jose. Born April 7, 1876 in Dewitt, California.... Junior member of the firm of Beasly & Fry since 1905." In 1913, Fry joined a D.T. Jenkins, to form the legal firm of Fry & Jenkins.
