Tao Fong Shan, Hong Kong, Nov. 1992. The new-built Lutheran Theological Seminary (LTS), accommodating more than 100 students. - The LTS-history began long ago in China, and continued , due to the Civil War, from 1948 in Hong Kong, until 1977. Since 1972 the board of the former seminary, realizing the importance of cooperation in theological education, decided that this should be sought among related churches in South-East Asia. Following this, a new international institution for cooperation of theological education was founded in 1977.
