View of the crowds of people at the ceremony for the laying of the corner stone of the new City Hall building in San Francisco (Larkin street near Grove street). There are many horse drawn carriages in the foreground, and a large stone arch is already built at the construction site (sign says Honor & Justice). Image is only slightly different than Watkins #1614 (Stereo-1243).
