Description
Elder Creek Elementary, a K-12 school, had a Chinese Immersion Program that helped bilingual students learn Chinese and English. The program blended Chinese- and English-speaking students and started with 80 percent Cantonese and 20 percent English. This school photograph shows the graduating class of 1934, a diverse mixture of students.
