Description
A Sunday School book for ハート山佛教會 = Heart Mountain Buddhist Church which belonged to Sakae Nakano, that is, George Nakano. It contains Buddhist gathas and texts in Japanese and English. The George Nakano Family Papers includes booklets, ephemera, scrapbooks, and other material related to George Nakano, former Assemblymember and Torrance City Council member. Subjects include the Jerome and Tule Lake incarceration camps, the Nakano family, and George Nakano's political career.
