Caption dated January 1, 1963 reads, "To repair crew from Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, broken fire hydrant at corner of Vose St. and Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood Monday was a chore. But to two admiring boys the accident was an adventure. Police said hydrant was sheered [sic] off by car in background."
